Pat MacDonald, Cofounder

Pat and her husband Merril "Doc" MacDonald are founding members of MacDonald Motorsports.  Since the passing of "Doc", Pat helps the organization focus on the future and adheres to the vision of her husband.  A proud grandparent from Oshawa, Canada, Pat enjoys traveling with the team, spending time with her grandchildren, and following her spiritual calling.  A longtime member of MRO, Pat has been a mainstay in NASCAR for over 30 years.

Randy MacDonald, Owner

A native to Oshawa, Canada and an engineering grad, Randy is the driving force behind MacDonald Motorsports.  His extensive racing career spreads over 40 years.   By competing in the top three tiers of NASCAR, Randy has raced amongst the sports legends.   As a talented young racer, Randy was the 1985 Busch North (Camping World East) Rookie of the Year.  A loving husband and father of two daughters, Randy enjoys spending time scouting new talented drivers as well as following his spiritual calling.

John Monsam - Crew Chief #81

Born in Connecticut, John Monsam graduated from Westfield State University and moved to North Carolina in 1985.  His first year as a crew chief would be 1994 in which he won 2 races in the NASCAR Nationwide Series with Ricky Craven behind the wheel.  Since then John has Crew Chiefed for DEI, Roush Racing, Wood Brothers, Kevin Harvick Inc. and many more.  Over his 17 year career as a crew chief, John has 7 wins in the NASCAR Truck Series and 2 wins in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. 

Dan Brzozowski - #81 Car Chief

Mark Durgin - K&N Pro Series Crew Chief, Shop Foreman. Originally from Lynn, MA, Mark now lives in Mooresville, NC with his wife and 2 kids, Kate (11), and Mark Jr. (9).  Mark has worked on cars and raced in the K&N Pro Series East in the past before moving south to North Carolina.  Since then he has worked on Nationwide cars for both Turner Motorsports and Kevin Harvick Incorporated.

Dan Duncan - Hauler Driver, Mechanic

Shawn Meekhof, Grandville, MI - Marketing/PR. After graduating from Grand Valley State University in 2010, Shawn moved south from his home in Grandville, MI to Mooresville, NC.  After a summer working at Motorsports Management International, he began working at MacDonald Motorsports handling marketing, PR, accounting, and many other tasks.  shawn.meekhof@gmail.com
